PSI Small Group Training

Summer Small Group SAQ + Technical Training Sessions

Sessions are focused on developing the complete player. A combo session of our speed and agility and small group technical sessions.

Sessions include 30 minutes of speed, agility, quickness training and injury prevention work and 60 minutes of technical skills and tactical awareness with a focus on implementing skill work with tactical decision-making in game speed 1-vs-1 and 2-vs-2 scenarios. Indoor sessions have a heavy focus on individual ball mastery, technique and passing. 

($60 / 90 min session)

About Speed and Agility Sessions 

Sessions focus on speed, power and agility with emphasis on development of appropriate running and cutting mechanics to enhance sport specific speed - 30 min session ($25) 

About Small Group Sports Performance Sessions

The sessions will address full-body (age-appropriate) power, speed, agility, and plyometrics with a heavy focus on appropriate mechanics and injury prevention. They offer an introduction into lifting in a gym environment

($45 / 60 min session; max 6 athletes per group)

All sessions are sign up week to week, players can attend multiple sessions per week

Elite High School  SAQ + Technical Training Group (90 min)
  • Sundays: 7:30am - 9am CM Herndon Park

  • Wednesdays: 6pm-7:30pm Peak Rehab (indoors)

Designed for top club level players who are interested in playing college (raising 9th-12th graders). 

Developmental 7th-10th grade girls SAQ + Technical Training Group (90 min)  

Merged with Elite high school group 

  • Wednesdays: 6pm-7:30pm Peak Rehab (indoors)

Recommended for female middle school/ high school, recreational or challenge/classic level raising 7th-10th grade players 

Developmental Youth SAQ + Technical Training Group (90 min) - 2014-2011
  • Sundays: 9:00 am - 10:30 am CM Herndon Park

  • Wednesdays: 4:30 pm-6:00 pm Peak Rehab (indoors)

Recommended for youth club players born 2014-2011

Foundational Youth SAQ + Technical Training Group (90 min) - 2018-2014
  • Sundays: 9:00 am - 10:30 am CM Herndon Park

  • Wednesdays: 4:30 pm-6:00 pm Peak Rehab (indoors)

Recommended for youth players born 2018-2015, or 2013-2014 challenge / rec level players. 

High School Speed and Agility Training 
  • Sunday: 7:30 am - 8:00 am CM Herndon Park

  • Wednesday: 6:00 pm -  6:30 pm Peak Rehab 

Sport specific speed, power and agility training with focus on running form and mechanics 

Youth Speed and Agility Training - $25
  • Sunday: 9:00 - 9:30am CM Herndon Park

  • Wednesday: 4:30-5pm Peak Rehab (indoors)

sport specific speed, power and agility training with focus on running form and mechanics for athletes ages 7-13

For 60 minute technical training sessions, players are welcome to attend the last hour of each SAQ + technical session - $45 / hour email Mollie for sign up

How to schedule online (new scheduling platform)

  • a) follow the link to the website: https://peakrehab.janeapp.com

  • b) scroll down and click "small group technical training" 

  • c) click the desired training 

  • d) a pop up will appear to bring you to the first date on the calendar

  • e) you can scroll through week by week or navigate to the desired day and select the session you would like to book

  • f) if you would like to book multiple click book "more." If you want to book a single session or have selected all sessions click "im done"

  • g) create your online profile

  • h) you can modify your appointments and sign up for additional confirmations

  • i) complete liability waivers and intake forms

What players need to bring
  • Technical trainings: a soccer ball, water bottle, shin guards, soccer cleats / turf shoes

  • For all indoor sessions: players must wear turf shoes or running sneakers  - no cleats allowed indoors

Weather policy

  • Sessions will be moved indoors to Peak Rehab (located within Triangle Athletic Complex) in the event of inclement weather

  • In the event of extreme weather or unsafe driving conditions sessions will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date

  • Parents and players will receive at least 12 hour notice of location change or cancellation of any event. Please check your email in advance of the training for any updates.

Cancellation policy

  • Players can cancel a session up to 24 hours in advance through the web calendar link. Please try your best to give advanced noticed (>24 hours) as spaces are limited.

  • Cancellations within 12 hours will be evaluated on a case by case basis and may result in a $20 charge of the sessions. We understand unforeseen circumstances arise and will be excluded from this policy. 

Payment 

  • When scheduling, you will be asked to put a credit card on file. You will be automatically charged following each session (no advanced payment necessary).

  • If you prefer to pay through cash or check please let Mollie know prior to the session
